couple_cruisers Posted September 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Hello, I am new to RCL so I was hoping to get in on the WOW sale that is rumored to be around this time. I would love some on board credit. BUT..... I just looked up the cruise and it dropped $300 off the total price.... should I book now or wait and see if it stays at $300 AND get the WOW sale.... Thought please thanks!!!
Starry Eyes Posted September 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2012 If you do not book now and the price goes back up tomorrow, will you kick yourself? If so, go ahead and book at the lower rate. then watch for any future price drops until final payment is due.
Ocean Boy Posted September 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2012 If the price goes up just $50.00 p.p. then you will only break even with the WOW sale's $100.00 OBC. If it looks like a good price to you I'd book.
DonnaK Posted September 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2012 If you are satisfied with the price now, then you should book it. Prices usually increase before the WOW sale, although if they drop again afterwards, you can call for the price adjustment.

Personally, I find it irritating and it has recently led me to book alternate vacation plans.
Starry Eyes Posted September 30, 2012 #10 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Prices can change quickly. Also entry mistakes happen, so be careful when you check prices on the Royal Caribbean website. Even though you searched for a specific date, sometimes a different date pops up...you then must select the correct date on a drop down to get the correct prices. it is rather easy to forget to double check that date. Prices can just as easily go down as up anytime. Wow sale has nothing to do with it
