These are always good....chicken tenders with a thai bbq sauce My dad and I always have to get a slice of carrot cake from the specialty coffee shop. It is big enough to share and that is exactly what we do Yummy....chocolate covered strawberries Shrimp and fries in the MDR Black Forest Cake from the specialty coffee shop....it is another dessert that is big enough to share. The outside of it is all white chocolate and the inside is cake and white creme This is the bacon mac and cheese. I had already ate the chicken....oops ***** Well that concludes my review of the Carnival Legend.....if was fun to put this together. I hope you enjoyed it. LPut714 Posted October 16, 2012 #184 Share Posted October 16, 2012 We will be on the Dream next Feb with a stop in Roatan-did you just email Victor about a tour? Was there different price ranges depending on what you did/ When you swam with the Manatees did you book that thru Chankanaab? So you had to get your own transportation there and back as well as park entrance fee? Loved your review

So you had to get your own transportation there and back as well as park entrance fee? Loved your review Hey there....thanks for checking out my review. Go to http://www.boddentours.com/ to check out what tour you may want to do. My vote is for the Best of Roatan Private tour. You are able to pick and choose what you want to do. It is just your group only. Just e-mail Victor with what tour you may want to do or even if you have questions about what there is to do. You book the Manatee Encounter through http://www.**********************cozumel/cozumel-location-overview.asp. It is $59.00 per person and that includes your admission into Chankanaab Park. Transportation to and from Chankanaab Park is on your own and it is about $10.00 each way. The Manatees are worth every penny :) *****not sure why the website didn't show up in my post.....it is http://www.dolphindiscovery.com Edited October 16, 2012 by wrigley80

workinggal Posted October 19, 2012 #189 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Brianna, I just read your posts. The very first thing that struck me was that you and your father cruise together. I find this wonderful and fabulous! It truly brought tears to my eyes. Why? I am a farm gal from IN. My parents are deceased. They traveled for 32 yrs. after Dad retired from farming. Never cruised. My husband and I are retired and are doing as much as possible. I am so happy for you both. My dear, you will never regret this! I suppose you should pardon me for being so sentimental, but as a retired RN I saw many people dying who expressed regrets in their lives. So, keep living. Blessings to you and Dad.:)
tattoos Posted October 19, 2012 #190 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Hope you enjoy your Sensation cruise. They have a great rotisserie chicken venue on the open Lido deck in the middle of the food stations between the Grill and Mongolian Wok...this is also where the carving station is...they had a whole turkey one day with sides of red skinned mashed potatos, yummy mac 'n cheese, cranberries, etc. One night they had a female singer in the lounge area near the casino that was just great...she sang Motown hits and got everyone on the floor dancing...I even saw people leave their slot machines to get up and dance!! We went to Tea Time one day and loved it...the desserts are so good and it was nice getting away from the hustle and bustle of the ship for an hour. Thanks, as always for a great review. Danacat222 Posted October 20, 2012 #194 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Happy Belated Birthday! Thanks for the tip about the hotel's park & cruise option, that helps a lot. I saw the links to info about the Manatee encounter at Dolphin Discovery, before i saw the links i was going to ask if you need to book in advance or can you do it when you arrive? Do they have a combo for both manatee and dolphin encounter? I also must tour with Victor Bodden as i love animals and want to visit the monkeys. After reading your review a few times and how much you enjoy cruising with your Dad, i have changed up my cruise from it being me and my boyfriend to me and my Mom. My boyfriend likes to cruise but not with the same enthusiasm that i have, my mom is 72 and still works full time and has not cruised in 10 years so i am excited to cruise with her in March! Yeah I would most definitely stay at that hotel again. It was very convenient with the shuttle use. Yes I would book in advance. You want to ensure your spot. There are 3 different times to choose from. When we swam with the Manatees last year in December the manatee encounter program was just getting started. I am sure you would be able to do the dolphins and manatees the same day. It is all relatively close together. Victor Bodden tours in Roatan is quite reasonable. And I liked the tour with them because you had your own private tour. You are able to pick and choose what you want to do. Yeah my Dad is my best friend and he is the only person that I have an interest to cruise with. We are like two peas in a pod. Haha. I'm sure your mother will love her cruise and you will really enjoy the time that you get to spend with her. oncruisecontrol Posted October 20, 2012 #200 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Your review was awesome. I had started reading it before we left for our own cruise on the Freedom. Your pictures are wonderful, especially the ones of you guys with the monkeys. I like the tours you took in Roatan and Belize. We are beach people, but we are also interested in the culture of the people and how they live. Just last week, we were in Curacao and were fortunate to have cab drivers that were, not only prompt and reliable, but very informative about their island and its culture.
