Norwegian Sky September 24-28 (Pictures!!!)

Hi everyone! I was on the Norwegian Sky last week and had a great time!!! The ship is a bit dated, but that didn’t affect us from having a great time! We spent most of our time on the ship as Freeport and Nassau did not really interest us, but GSC was top notch.

Casino:

Didn’t win anything. Don’t know if it was just my bad luck or what, but compared to the other two times I was on the Star, I had a much smaller winning % on the slots.

 

 

Room:

3 days before we left for Miami, we got a phone call from the upgrade fairy!!! For $600, we moved from the Aft Balcony to Owner Suites. We were in Suite 9201.

 

 

 

 

The fridge was filled up with water and soda every night

There is Bose speakers and Pioneer audio equipment in the room. So if you bring your own wires, you can hook up your own music (ipod)

One of the downside of the Owner's Suite on Deck 9 compared to Deck 8 is that the hot tub is not full size (1st world problems :P)

Freeport:

 

Just walked around the port area before going back on the ship to relax.

 

The Bahamas Celebration was also docked

Nassau:

Again, we didn't do much at the port. I only went to Starbucks to satisfy my cravings

Great Stirrup Cay: Exceeded my expectation. We rented a clam shell. Tip: when you rent one, make sure you get one with the mesh in the back, else it will get very hot and stuff inside.

 

I also rented snorkeling gear, which cost $30. There were some man-made sunken treasure and small fishes.

Not a lot of shade on the island. This was the place I saw with the most shade:

Great pictures, thanks. We had an aft balcony and got the call to upgrade also, wasn't that room great?? I am shocked though that they have not refinished around the hot tub, that's not such a great impression. Loved the bar area and the living room though.
