We received a call in our cabin while on the Enchantment inviting us to dine at the Captains Table. All of the invited guests met, had a drink and then went to sit down. However, there were not enough chairs set up and my husband and I were left standing. I was so embarrassed! Fortunately the quick response by the waiter had us squeezed in in no time!

Lady Astor, when invited to dine with the Captain, replied.....

 

"Why would I want to eat with the help?"

I'm completely with Lady Astor. I wouldn't sit with the captain for free let alone for pay.

Yes, our experience has been that it's usually a special menu, with items like filet. lobster, and a chicken and fish dish.
