Reserved Suite Seating in Sun Theatre?

Could someone clarify what types of suite qualify for this special seating? We were in an SJ suite on our last cruise on the Star and inquired about this with the concierge and were told to just line up with everyone else. Is it only for the upper level category suites?

On the Sun, all suites are included in the program.

Just to add to the discussion, these are definitely not the best seats in the house.

I agree any of the reserved seats on NCL are not the greatest seats as your sitting at the side of the stage wall seeing side view of the show.

Get there early about 20 min. and you'll get better seats closer to front and center.

A good concierge would never tell you to 'just line up with everyone else'. IMO, that's just poor customer service.

It seems to vary by ship/concierge. On the Star it seems to be only GV/DOS/OS. On the Dawn the typical reserved "boxes" were GV/DOS/OS but one "lane" by the boxes was set aside for all "S" suites when we went in June. On the Dawn I specifically asked the concierge who gave me her process.

On the Dawn and Star the box seating had bronze colored placards as well as paper signs.

I find that all suite reserved seats are not good at all. On Sky (similiar to Sun) they are second level on the side of the stage. They are ok but not great.

On Epic we were escorted to suite seats in the middle of the theater. But once we got there there were about 8 empty rows ahead of us so we just moved.

So we no longer use the reserved suite seating. You can get much better seats on your own.

I think the purpose of reserved seats is you can enter whenever you like and almost be late and get a seat.
