excitedofharpenden Posted January 19, 2013 #26 Share Posted January 19, 2013 I will do a small review sometime next week I hope. We loved the Silversea experience but Azamara still has first call on my heart. Lottie, that is my friend Helen's opinion too. She's done a few Silversea cruises, most latterly on the more up to date Silver Spirit, but prefers Azamara for the overall experience. She used to try and get me to go on Silversea and has now given up because she knows why I like Azamara so much. Hope all is well with you and a Happy New Year! Lottie A Posted January 19, 2013 #27 Share Posted January 19, 2013 Hi Phil, Happy New Year to you as well. Silversea is a fantastic experience and I will certainly cruise with them again.....in fact I am planning to this summer, but there is that special something missing......Azamara has it, but other cruise lines don't. It's all to do with the crew of course. So like your friend Helen, Azamara will still be my first choice.....but I have to say that Silversea run them very close and some of my friends here will know why that is! :D Sorry for hijacking the thread again folks. Rare little britain Posted January 19, 2013 #28 Share Posted January 19, 2013 I will do a small review sometime next week I hope. We loved the Silversea experience but Azamara still has first call on my heart. I'm looking forward to that review. My relations will only cruise on SS (around 4x a year) and I keep trying to get them to make that switch;)
Rare insidecabin Posted February 20, 2013 #29 Share Posted February 20, 2013 Gave up on this fix and typical it gets "fixed" while I was not looking... It's not fixed properly. UK pricing should include the taxes in the prices when viewing cruises NOT add them when you go to a booking. eg: http://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/find-a-voyage/may-2013 the prices do not include taxes. Hello Insidecabin - I'm passing on your comments to our website management that the taxes should be shown when a guest is viewing the cruise option and not only when the guest goes into the booking mode. I will get back to you with their findings and appreciate your bringing this to our attention. Rare insidecabin Posted February 20, 2013 #32 Share Posted February 20, 2013 Just checked, since it looks very similar to celebrity booking I checked their UK web they seem to have it right from what I have tried so far. eg (with a UK local) http://www.celebritycruises.com/search/vacationSearchResults.do?dest=ANY&sailStartDate=201303&sailEndDate=ANY&ship=ANY&port=ANY RCI uk also seem to be ok

canny_cruiser Posted February 26, 2013 #37 Share Posted February 26, 2013 They are all so busy sorting this out, it seems there is no one left to answer e-mails sent via their on-line messaging system. I've been waiting almost a fortnight for a reply.
