Cruise Port - Food

Where else is there to eat at the Cruise Port, besides Margaritaville?

 

I can probably find something I like at Margaritaville, but, is there anything else as an option? I don't want to have go head back to the ship.

Lots of threads here about Jack's Shack and Local Village Bar. Both have food and lots of opinions.

Awesome! I didn't realize Jack's Shack was within the cruise port. I will look at them again.

Neither Local Village nor Jacks are technically in the cruise port. Both are a short walk away though. You can't miss Arthur's signs for Local Village. And they do have really good fresh seafood there, but can run out if the catch that day is small.

 

Jack's is further up the beach. I haven't eaten there, but they do have free shots of rum (as does Local Village), Turks Head beer (try the Amber) and a limited menu which aficionados say is very tasty.

They are both to the left of the cruise ship created entertainment /shop area but for those without mobility problems a short walk down the beach.

Thanks for all of the replies. I just read a whole thread about Local and Jack's and they both sound like fun and not too far. I guess we will venture over and eat.

If none of those spots sound appealing, the ship is docked very close. You can pop on, grab something to eat, and get back to the pool/beach.

We had some wonderful conch strips (not fritters) and cold beers after our dive when we were there. Just a short walk down the beach past Margaritaville......sat at a table right on the sand with an umbrella. Nice !
