Here are a few pics from the Indy from the 6 night January 7th cruise. This is our 7th or 8th cruise and the ship was in great shape. We were on the Eclipse last year (2011) when she was 6 months old and The Indy looked just as sparkling new.

Solarium pool, spent a lot of time here so nice....

When you are on the western route it is very hard to find a chair in the sun, the right side will be in the sun, the left side in the shade on sea day #1, after that it is reversed because you will be heading east the rest of the cruise....

We also had the 1st or last (which ever way you see it) promenade cabin on deck #6. It was pretty much across from our balcony, #6632. (kids room)

Enjoyed looking at all your pics of the Indy. We will be on her in 3 weeks, doing this 6 night. I also read your review of the Celebrity Eclipse and enjoyed it very much. We will be boarding the Eclipse in 1 week for 14 nights, just before we board the Indy.

Royal Caribbean takes good care of her ships. Some ships are better taken care of than others though, but all in all a pretty good job.

 

Btw who is in charge ? on HAL it's the staff captain's job to make sure that the ship looks like new.

We have very similar pictures . We were on the Naming ceremony and managed to get a free copy of the official DVD. Had four cruises on it last year as well as some the previous years.

 

Giving it a miss this year, going on the Adventure instead.
