Ice show tickets at Meet & Mingle??

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm going on my first Royal Caribbean cruise (Explorer of the Seas) at the end of March this year. :) Reading these threads, some people have mentioned Ice Show tickets being handed out at CC Meet & Mingle events. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, as this is my first RCI cruise and my grown up daughters first ever cruise, are there any other tips or advice you can give us? We're visiting Port Canavral, Nassau and Coco Cay. Thank in advance and happy cruising!

I've been on the Explorer several times. If the Meet and Mingle is held at the same time they are distributing tickets to everyone, the staff will distribute tickets at the M and M also. Often, the Upper Tier Event is an ice show on the Explorer so tickets are delivered to your cabin for this event.

How do you know which show you want to see? Is it different everyday? How does this work?

they generally have 2 different shows which are performed at least twice during the week. It will be in the Compass telling when and where they will distribute the tickets. They will ask you which show time you want. I don't remember if they have tickets for both show that first time or not. I am sure someone will know. I would go to both shows if you are able to get tickets for both. They are both quite different and each will be performed more than once.

On our recent Explorer cruise the 1st show was the 2nd or 3rd day and the other show was held day 7 and/or 8.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise.

It did at ours in November and it was a nice guester saving both time and trouble. Our second show was the special invite only one and for that we received tickets in our cabin.
