Qune Posted February 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Ha Ha.... you're funny. Ya, shame on them. That, and they also should charge them for drinking anything in their refrigerator. Stick it to 'em I say.
jdeville71 Posted February 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2013 After all those days without being able to shower, would you want to reuse one of those robes? I think Carnival is glad they are taking them!
etwright Posted February 15, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Since they are refunding them all their expenses except casino and store expenses, I doubt they are going to charge them for the robes.

ready2cruzagain Posted February 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2013 I seriously doubt that Carnival is worried about the robes...they have a lot more serious problems right now. Also, it was pretty chilly in Mobile last night and people were wearing them to keep warm. I personally think they deserve them!

Some get tossed some get donated. I liked the people that were carrying off the TV's

BeagleOne Posted February 15, 2013 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Thanks for posting the tweet, I also heard one interviewed passenger say that they were told before docking that the robes would be free if they wanted to take them.
cruiseguyforever Posted February 15, 2013 Author #17 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Did the guest take the robes? Yes. Did they pay for them? NO. What is the definition of theft?
TheGirlNextDoor Posted February 15, 2013 #18 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Heard a man on Fox News this morning say "I stole your bathrobe, Carnival, you can bill me". He went on to say he didn't pack a jacket, didn't expect to sleep on deck. A reporter later said all the bathrobes were given to the passengers. Did he not expect the cold temps in Galveston? LOL... It was in the 40's this morning in Galveston.

cruiseguyforever Posted February 15, 2013 Author #23 Share Posted February 15, 2013 I did not read that Carnival said they could have the robes. Just because it is on a tweet does not make it fact. I say they stole them. Show me a offical Carnival web site that says they can have them. Until then they stole the robes. I'am not surpised by the actions of some of the guests. It says alot of the average Carnival guest.
