KnoxvilleSam Posted April 27, 2013 #27 Share Posted April 27, 2013 Based on what you've written it's probably not what you want. The April 3 one isn't one of the AU/NZ ones. It goes to Honolulu, although via NZ. Called Celebrity just now and found out they have totally revamped their "regional" schedule for the Solstice Down Under. No longer any Sydney/Auckland cruises after the January 27, 2015 sailing or Auckland/Sydney after the February 8, 2015 sailing. Went ahead and booked the January 27 sailing from Sydney to Auckland. Will be hotter in OZ and NZ than what I'd hoped to have, but I guess that will be a nice change from the miserable weather in the US.

missm Posted April 28, 2013 #31 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Sam - What sorts of itinerary changes for the Solstice does Celebrity plan to make in the future? Given the distances involved, it would seem really difficult to deviate much from what they are already offering. Mary

Given the distances involved, it would seem really difficult to deviate much from what they are already offering. Mary Since I was only interested in a Sydney/Auckland (or reverse), I don't really know. I had thought that there would be those sailings in early April, as there have been previously - now April is when the Solstice starts back from Sydney to Hawaii via Bora Bora, as described above. It's irritating that we can only get itineraries by calling Celebrity during this Captains Club preview, but that's the way it is I guess.

According to our booking confirmation there's no overnight in Sydney. Leave on the 27th with next day at sea. I think the lengthy post above spells it out. Joe Beach Posted April 29, 2013 #38 Share Posted April 29, 2013 here's what I learned from a long phone call, these may not be the full itineraries as I was taking notes. Do not ask any question, what you see is all that I got. Solstice will be doing transpacific to and from with Australia in between like it has for the current season of 2013/2014 Millenium will be doing Hong Kong to Tokyo trips with transpacifics from YVR (Vancouver) to Tokyo, back in Alaska for 2015. Century is doing new itins, but many similar to the Mille did but from San Fran to Sydney for 23 day trip with stops in Tahiti and Hawaii Sept 16-Oct 10, 2014. Then roundtrips from SYD, then Jan 2015 it does roundtrips from Singapore to Viet Nam, Phillipines, etc then goes up to Tokyo for a couple of roundtrips. What is interesting about this is it ends up in Tokyo around May 1, 2015 and I doubt it is coming back to Alaska then, as it would have by that time with a transpacific. ...open for a future decision. abbreviations: SEAS means sea days in between the stops and a number with an S means sea days, i.e. 2S = 2 sea days CENTURY 2014: Sep 16 23Day cruise 16 of them sea days-- from San Fran, 4S, HONO, MAUI, 5S, PAPEETE, BORA BORA, 3S, FIJI, 2S, NEW CALADONIA, 2S, SYDNEY Oct. 10 12Day SEAS + NEW CALD, MYSTERY IS, VENUATU, FIJI, FIJI SYD Oct. 22 8Day SEAS +MELBOURNE, ADELAIDE, PORT LINCOLN, SYD Oct. 30 12D SEAS + NEW CALD, MYSTERY ISL, VENUATU, FIJI, FUJI, SYD Nov. 11 8D SEAS +MELBOURNE, ADELAIDE, PORT LINCOLN, SYD Nov. 19 12D SEAS + NEW CALD, MYSTERY ISL, VENUATU, 2FIJI, SYD Dec. 1 14D SEAS + AIRLIE BCH, CAIRNS, VENUATU, ROYAL IS, ISE OF PINES, SYD Dec. 15 7D SEAS + MELBOURNE, HOBART, BURNIA, SYD Dec. 22. 14Day XMAS 2015: Jan. 3 8D SEAS +MELBOURNE, ADELAIDE, PORT LINCOLN, SYD Jan. 11 14D 2S, AIRLIE, CAIRNS,CAIRNS, 2S, DARWIN, 2S, BALI, 2S, SING Jan. 25 14D SING, Includes VIET NAM, BANGKOK....SING Feb. 8 14D SING, Includes VIET NAM, BANGKOK....SING Feb. 22 14D SING, Includes RANGOON LANGKAWI PENANG PORT KELANG...SING Mar. 8 14D 2D in SING, 1S, PHUKET, 2S, RANGOON, LANGKAWII, SING Mar. 22 14d SING, VIET, to HONG KONG Apr. 5 14D HONG KONG,SHANGHAI to TOKYO via 3D in BEIJING, NAGASAKI, KAIYOSHIMA, TOKYO Apr.17 - 29 12D TOKYO RND via MT FUJI, HATARU, RUSSIA, TOKYO MILLE Sept. 12 16D YVR, 8S, PETRO RUSSIA, 2S HATORU, 1S, TOKYO, TOKYO Sept. 28 14D TOKYO to SHANGHAI Oct.12 14D SHANGAI to TOKYO Oct. 26 14D TOKYO, SHANGHAI to HONG KONG Nov. 9 14D HONG KONG to TOKYO ... back and forths TOKYO to HONG KONG then Apr. 26 16D SHANGHAI, JEJU, KOBE, MT FUJI, TOKYO, 3S, PETRO RUSSIA, 7S,...
