In response to your other post - the Oosterdam's Atrium was certainly more intimate than grand but when we booked we knew this, my DH and I were after a more sea going experience, ie the promenade deck and HAL certainly supplied this. Orientation was easy using the stairs bow, mid or stern but I must admit the Atrium, from my point of view, was not a good orientation point.
