This is an awful picture but I wanted to show you that you can actually see the stars from Central Park!! You can barely see them but I was happy some of them actually are visible in the picture.

And the night ended with a view of the wake from the track. What an amazing place to just take it all in. I hope to see this 3 propeller wake sometime soon!

Thanks so much for the great review! I found it yesterday, and have been reading in every minute of my free time. I just booked a W. Carib on Allure for November today, and your review was the tipping point between that trip and a less expensive one. I honestly think the only port we are getting off the ship in is Labadee. We've been to the other ports (Cozumel multiple times) and I think we'd rather spend more time on the ship this cruise.

 

I especially love that you posted the Compasses, as I know it is a ton of work to scan all those pages and upload them.

 

Also was so happy to see the Behind the Scenes tour pics. Seems like most people who do the tour like to keep the "secret stuff" to themselves :) But my husband is always debating whether the cost of the tour is worth it, and I think these pics will help him decide.

 

I was a high school swimmer, lifeguard and swim instructor, so your comments about work bring back great memories of my last summer before college, working at the pool all day, hanging out around a campfire with the other lifeguards at night - good times!

Thanks guys! If you didn't know, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted earlier today, around 11:30 am. My mom said the doctors said I did great! I am just relaxing right now, I did pass out briefly about 3 hours ago. Ever since, I am feeling much better. I still haven't even needed to take pain killers yet. I got one of my favorite smoothies from work on the way home :D

 

 

I should be good enough tomorrow to finish up my final thoughts and start the second part of my little secret project!

Take two long tube socks, put ice in the toes, tie the toes together, then tie the cuffs on top of your head. Handy ice pack that you don't need to hold! Don't be a hero--take that Advil before the pain sets in! It'll take longer to work if you let the pain take hold.

 

I heard that the homeowners had the Flowrider installed for his then 19-yo son. In all the times we've sailed out of FLL, I've seen it used only once!! If that were my kid, I'd make sure he and his friends were out there from sun up to sun down, getting MY money's worth!! ;)

After dinner we headed to the casino. Mom and I wanted to venture off and go up to the Promenade for something and we were surprised to be caught in the beginning of the 70's party! I have been around this kind of music my whole life so I knew most of the songs. It honestly was a lot of fun! The lighting in the promenade is INCREDIBLE. They really show off what they can do in this neighborhood during this show, it turns in to a huge dance club! I couldn't stop taking pictures of everything! It was very high energy, they were throwing out free stuff which included rings that light up. There were dancers and even a disco ball!

Now the next three pictures of the night were really random and I just took them on the way back to the room. I think the last one is my cup I got from a drink I treated myself to for the 4th! It was a mix of Piña Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri I believe. I still use the cup, it has my favorite logo on it and lights up with my favorite color! =D

 

Tonight my friends and I all went to QUEST!! Wow was that fun!! I believe a cc member from our roll call was the leader of one group. If you are 18 or older, don't miss this! I really don't want to spoil it for you but there were many people there and the time passed by very fast! We went to the club after that and then a late night trip to the Promenade and Central Park!

Hey guys, I'm doing well! I am taking pain meds I got from the doctor and I was icing all day yesterday.

 

I thought I would add something a little more before I can finish the review! Do you remember me having my graduation party a while ago? Well I got this AMAZING cake that my mom surprised me with!! It was like 5 layers of cake, custom built with my favorite color and favorite logo! It was so awesome and SUPER heavy! :eek: Thought I would share some pictures of it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Working on my surprise! I will respond to people now and I am still not sure when I will finish it all up! I think I am going to go relax and watch some movies later so probably not until tomorrow. See you soon!

Thank you so much! I use the Sony NEX F3, it is perfect! I would suggest it to anyone, the picture quality is amazing and it is small enough to carry around with you everywhere on vacation. I love how the ISO settings change automatically if its dark out, unlike a DSLR.

I have to say that this is the best review ever! I absolutely love you photos...they are so fabulous!
