njoy2cruz Posted July 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Does anyone know if we have to bring our own towels for shore excursions and Labadee or if we can take towels from the ship. Trying to save space in luggage. :) Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

leaveitallbehind Posted July 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2013 You can take towels from the ship. Towels are also provided in the cabanas if you rent one. No need to bring any from home with you.
OCruisers Posted July 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2013 You'll enjoy not having to bring beach towels from home! Not only do they take up luggage space ... but it's also great not to have deal with wet, sandy towels after using them. Have a great cruise! :) LuLu ~~~~
FLACRUISER99 Posted July 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Just remember RCI assumes every one is going to steal them and will make you go to the pool area and use you seapass card to check them out. So make sure you have clean towels to take ashore the day before
Dharma517 Posted July 13, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Great tip!! Avoid the rush and get them the night before. Just remember RCI assumes every one is going to steal them and will make you go to the pool area and use you seapass card to check them out. DonnaK Posted July 13, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Just remember RCI assumes every one is going to steal them and will make you go to the pool area and use you seapass card to check them out. So make sure you have clean towels to take ashore the day before Yes and to build on this, although you can swap out wet used towels for clean dry ones throughout the cruise, make sure that on the last day, you return them and confirm with the attendant that your account is clear. joepeka Posted July 13, 2013 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2013 A follow up, related question: we're new to RCI, have booked a GS for this Fall and have read that towels are provided to suite guests w/o any checkout. Can I assume those towels can be/should be taken ashore or do you check out towels for off-ship use as described above??
