Adult areas

Do It!!!!! All they can do is tell you that you can't...:D

I disagree with this mentality. You don't get to cherry pick the rules that you will and will not follow.

People get all riled up when the threads about chair hogs come up because dont those people know that you aren't allowed to hold chairs? What about the smokers that want to smoke in non smoking areas? Is it ok for them to say screw it, im going to do what I want until someone tells me I can't? no because it is inconsiderate to other passengers. This is no different. The rules say no topless sunbathing and if it is really that important to someone then they should pick a vacation or cruise line that allows it instead if acting like the rules only apply to everyone else and not themselves.

There is no longer an official topless area.

However, I've seen ladies sunbathing topless since then.

Nobody has ever asked them to cover up.

I wouldn't do it...no need to burn anyone's eyes out. But I don't care what others do.

If you're in the adult area, acting like an adult, who cares?

If the adult areas were private then who cares. Since kids can see most adults areas, I have run into some moms who do care. One mom walked out of the brunch over a joke told.. I can tell you for sure she would care.

Ive seen it all and dont care, but assuming a NON PRIVATE area means that people should not care, I guess that you dont understand moms?

I think her point was that if it was an adults only area that was not viewable outside of this area then it would be no big deal. But since all areas are viewable by children, and may upset parents that their kids may see then it is a big deal and thus should not be done.

While you or I may not see it as a big deal for a child to see a topless woman, there are some that would be bothered by it and since it is against the rules, should not be done.

Do the adult areas on the Carnival ships allow for topless sunbathing? We haven't cruised in a few years preferring to go to resorts that allow it.

Casino: no, but I don't gamble that much so possibly it has been done before and I haven't noticed before. You know gamblers and their superstitions...

Late Night Comedy Show: Honestly, you won't get much sun at that hour, but I don't see why not.

Serenity Area: its been done...

Quest: It may a requirement...

Of course, I understand moms...lol. I am one. And a grandma.

I just don't see the big deal over naked boobs. I really don't. I know some moms do.

I know, for sure, there are parts of the Serenity area that the children can not see.

I'm not talking about running around the ship flashing everyone.

Hysterical!!

There's lots of things I see on a cruise that I wish I hadn't - and one of them is kids in the adult area!!

Totally agree!

I remember when there was a small deck way on the top that was reserved for topless sunbathing. Don't remember which ship it was though. I think RCCL.
