Venice boat shuttles?

Yes, they operate a water shuttle at about £15 last time I was there. We chose to walk 5 minutes to the People Mover which costs 1 Euro and takes you to Piazza Roma where you can buy an all day Vaporetto ticket for 18 Euro. The shuttle boat from the ship doesn't even go down the Grand Canal.

Yes they do have a dedicated waterbus (Vaporetto) to St. Marks but it does not go down the Grand Canal.

I believe the current price is £16. (Thats what it was in April)

In my opinion, you are better off getting a normal Vaporetto 12 hour ticket for €18 and then you can go anywhere you want in Venice including the islands like Murano.

If you don't mind a walk through the back streets of Venice its a lovely 20 minute walk or 30 minute leisurely stroll to St Marks Square, you avoid all the hustle and bustle and see things people don't see that use the Vaporetto. We did it in May and it was well worth the effort, plus you miss all the queues!
