Vic The Parrot Posted August 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Just read this in the HAL Cruise Atlas I recently received. So, in those categories, not only they have robes, but slippers as well? Can anyone clarify this? Thanks
sail7seas Posted August 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2013 We usually (not always) get slippers in Neptune Suites but I am not aware they provide them to "SS". We did not receive them on our recent Veendam cruise but maybe because it was only 7 days? If you do not receive them, by all means ask your steward. pms4104 Posted August 31, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Last November on the Noordam, in an SY suite, we each were provided with a pair of slippers. White waffle-type fabric with rubber soles. They were in cellophane wrapping, and are yours to keep, apparently ... but I believe you will be charged for the robes if you take them on disembarkation day:)

Richie2pies Posted August 31, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Ace hardware stores have the same slippers in various colors for $1 a pair; at least in Florida they do.

Something like that would probably sell for $20 in Calgary. Things are stupid expensive here. I paid $39 to park downtown for the day:rolleyes:. cyntil8ing Posted August 31, 2013 #11 Share Posted August 31, 2013 We were given them last year in our SS on the Nieuw Amsterdam. They were one step above disposable. There were two sizes and we received one mens and one womens. I suppose I must have man-sized feet because I couldn't get the womens on my feet! They looked like this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/Disposable-slippers-one-time-hotel-family-travel-white-no-word-sulbactam-soft-flax-plush/755404241.html

Rare Vict0riann Posted August 31, 2013 #13 Share Posted August 31, 2013 We brought our slippers home with us, still in their cellophane wrappers; I thought we could use them for guests! It's true, the ladies' ones are quite small.

janmcn Posted August 31, 2013 #17 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Yes, in SS on Oosterdam we got them. Not too bad for "travel slippers" that take no room. Have them packed for our river cruise trip soon. Best thing about SS category IMO…the desk that has an ocean view! Loved it.

Have them packed for our river cruise trip soon. Best thing about SS category IMO…the desk that has an ocean view! Loved it. I've taken mine home too and use them on subsequent cruises. I guess I must have small feet because the ladies did fit me. Good to know something on me is small:D.
