sail7seas Posted September 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Repositioning from where to where? Alaska to FLL? Europe to FLL? Canada/NE to FLL? There aren't that many repo cruises in November, are there?
theduffys Posted September 9, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Sorry. Should have clarified. It's Barcelona to Tampa.
sppunk Posted September 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2013 November would have to be Europe to FLL. Alaska is snowy and Canada is freezing by then.
Rare kazu Posted September 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2013 We did a November crossing the year before last and the weather was surprisingly beautiful. Lots of sunbathing and shorts other than one day. Just the same, it's good to pack layers (which you will need for Europe anyways at that time of the year):D

I think Oct. gives you a chance of better weather.
sail7seas Posted September 9, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 9, 2013 We've had snow at Halloween in Boston. Rare but it does happen here so it certainly can happen north of us. Snow at Thanksgiving is not out of the question.
mamamzee Posted September 9, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Did Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale at Thanksgiving in 2011. Weather was beautiful all the way; ocean like a lake the entire way
RuthC Posted September 9, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 9, 2013 I did the Rome to Ft. Lauderdale a few years ago, leaving Rome 10/31. It was too hot while still in Europe, and comfortably warm on the crossing. It was quite warm when we disembarked on (I think) 11/18.
