I use a coffee mug to make yogurt parfaits. I alternate layers of yogurt with whatever fresh berries are available. Easy to carry out to the sun deck thanks to the handles on the mugs.

I love this thread! So many great ideas!

 

I thought of making a shake in my Tervis last cruise but I couldn't find any milk. Is it only available at breakfast?

It's out on the buffet - at breakfast only. But all you have to do is ask and they will get it for you!

What bread do you use? Is tuna salad on the buffet? Never really looked for it.

The deli is open all day and they serve tuna salad; they'll make you a tuna melt, which I prefer.

Since I don't eat red meat, there are two things I typically request:

 

1. Eggs Benedict without meat and sauce on the side

 

2. A turkey Rueben from the deli

 

Both are delicious and I have never had a problem ordering "off menu."

That's the only place I've seen the tuna, just don't want to wait in the line if it's on the buffet.

Not a fan of the coffee at the buffet but found if I did 1/2 hot chocolate and 1/2 coffee I was able to get my morning fix.

I like to order fruit with my WCMC also. Sometimes I order the orange sherbet with WCMC too. Great flavor combo like Terry's Chocolate Oranges.

In the MDR we've been known to order a Benedict Scramble with the sauce on the side on mornings we want an egg style other than poached. Tastes great and the spouse has theirs made with Egg Beaters.

That's how my grandpa always made shakes when I was little. Now, i can't do it any other way. Ice cream, milk and stir it with a knife!

Bananas, ice cream, pineapple chutney from the tandoor, chocolate sauce from the chocolate buffet, cherry from the bar.:D

Do this at the beginning to middle of the cruise. I've been on cruises where they run out of bananas by the end of the cruise.

Mix contents of mini tubs of peanut butter and syrup and enjoy as a spread on toast.

I actually make my own ham & cheese sandwiches :)

Much quicker than the deli.

 

I think next time I"ll make my own BLT!

 

LOL..my DH does the same thing...gets a country roll from the deli and then hits the salad bar for his "fixins"
