You can order a banana split in the MDR ... it's on the children's menu and is very good!

Mmm there are some great ideas in this thread. I haven't tried this yet but I'm think of getting a roll from the deli with just lettuce tomato and mayo and then going up to the fish and chips station and getting some fried oysters to make a simple oyster po boy :D

Hmmmm I liked getting fries from guys and covering then in salsa and cheese from blue Iguana.... I also would get an omlet and put on a bagel like those!!

We like to get the hot chocolate on the lido deck and add soft serve to it. Instant frozen hot chocolate, lido deck style!

Bring it to the deli and add it to a corned beef and pastrami on rye

It's rather easy to make "cheese grits" out of the bland grits available. :)

On the Hawaii cruise in October we were invited to a cabin for cocktails, all food came from the buffet.

 

Ass't vegetables and dip

Rolls of Cold Cuts and Cheese

Olives

Marinated veggies

 

Garnishes for drinks - oranges, pineapple

 

Also silverware, toothpicks for Cold Cut Rolls and veggie kabobs

glasses for beverages - plastic cups and champagne flutes

 

I know there was more.

on my Breeze cruise (6 nights) I gained 12 pounds :eek: it took over a month to lose it again!

Yep, it's that sweet/savory vibe. Kind of like putting a slice of sharp cheddar on top of warm apple pie. But you can't get warm apple pie on the ship.
