If you want a nice steak, then give it a try. I'd it on the second night so I could skip formal night in the MDR.

Agreed...we always do Chops,whether it's a 7 nighter or a 3 nighter...love the table by the sea, quiet ambiance, the crab cakes & lyonnaise potatoes are a must! You won't get any of this in the MDR...we also skip formal nights..after 28 cruises I don't need a suit on my cruise vacation.....make sure you ask for a table by the window...

The "Chop's" steak is available in the MDR on all ships, even those without a Chop's restaurant, for $14.95.

Thank you for your quick response. We are going on Brilliance and they have a Chops so we have another option.

I would definately have dinner at Chops on a 3-night cruise aboard the Enchantment. The food was excellant when we ate there but the view during dinner is even better.

I was terribly underwhelmed by the service in Chops on EN.. it was really very poor and our MDR was head and shoulders above them in both attitude and speed/efficiency. the food was meh as well

 

on GR, it was the complete polar opposite and I wish we could have afforded to eat at Chops more than once.

Absolutely. Do it. I was on EN last month and the service and meals in Chops was excellent.

 

I agree with Bob. The second night would be a good nght.

Went to Chops on our September cruise and found it to be EXCELLENT. The service was great as was the ambience. Food is always subjective.
