I got a reply to my inquiry about tile distribution today from HAL. The reason some ships did not distribute the tiles for some voyages is they ran out of them and the reorder was slow coming. They will be distributed at the Mariner's Luncheon. If you do not attend you can request one be delivered to your cabin. :D All Mariners who did not receive their tiles on past voyages should have gotten one in the mail by now.

Just contact the Mariner Society and they mail your tiles to you.

Returning passengers who have sailed HAL before, and in recent times those who have sailed another line in the Carnival family, receive a little gift at the Mariners' Reception (or it can be picked up at the Front Desk). This gift is a ceramic tile, about 4" x 4", with a delft design.

Lately the designs have been of former HAL ships.
