Jalex63 Posted October 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2013 I know that HAL changed their policy regarding wine, etc.. But is it still OK to bring a small amount of soda aboard. I usually bring a 12 pack of cola in my carry-on.

PathfinderEss Posted October 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Yes you can bring on soda, but the way things are changing, I would keep checking on that one.;)
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2013 I agree with Melodie -- keep checking here -- HAL's site may not get the information on their web site right away.
oma&opa Posted October 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Serious question... where may I drink my own soda? Is it like my own wine -- in my cabin only? Can I bring it to the Lido??? To the pool???
mimi312 Posted October 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 25, 2013 We just got back and brought on 2 cases - brought and drank it everywhere; including the dining room where we just asked for glasses with ice.
dreamer320 Posted October 25, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Silly question. Actually, two silly questions: Do you need to bring soda as a carry on, or can you tape a luggage tag to a case and have it brought to your cabin? I can only drink flat soda, and I love my diet Mt Dew that I let sit for a week uncapped. We're driving to port, so I'll be able to bring my supply. But will they think I'm trying to smuggle booze and confiscate it, since it won't be sealed?
hrhdhd Posted October 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Serious question...where may I drink my own soda? Is it like my own wine -- in my cabin only? Can I bring it to the Lido??? To the pool??? I bring a reusable mug and take it wherever I wish filled with whatever I want (usually soda that I have carried on, but sometimes iced tea or hot tea from the Lido). OVgirl Posted October 25, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 25, 2013 We just got back and brought on 2 cases - brought and drank it everywhere; including the dining room where we just asked for glasses with ice. Is this actually allowed according to 'policy', or is it a case of no one saying anything about it?
