Advice on Private Tours in Rome

My husband and I will be ending our cruise in Rome Italy May 2014. I am looking for recommendations on private tour companies that will show us all the high lights of Rome in a 6-8 hour tour. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We used context travel for 2 different tours. All professional scholars in there fields not just guides. They where a little pricey but you pay for what you get .

I highly recommend Aldo Monti's company Your Tour In Italy. We used them in Rome and for our day in Naples. Absolutely wonderful! I just can't say enough to tell you how glad we were that we booked with them.

Best advice is to contact several of them listing your requirements and you will soon get a feeling for which is the best one for you

Just a little dreading down the board will find many recommendations, including one with 2500 positive comments on it. Rome in Limo has that many positive comments for very good reasons...

Check the thousands of reviews on Tripadvisor. They are 5 star for good reason. They are the best!

I used them in Rome and Naples and wouldn't consider any other company.

There are many recommendations for Romeinlimo on this same page. I've used them many times and their tours have always been the highlight of our cruises. They get incredible reviews on the Trip Advisor also. You'll love anything you book with them.
