RuthlessBoss Posted November 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Somehow this doesn't seem right. If a couple should bring 6 more people, then that makes a platinum #2 ninth to board. If platinum #2 couple brings 6 others, that brings a platinum #3 to board as eighteenth to board etc. This kind of pushes plats further and further back due to the tag alongs boarding ahead of them. KenMo Posted November 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Yes. I've never seen it anywhere in writing that Plats can bring any amount of non-Plats tendering with them. Do you have a link to confirm this?

True but never have had to wait to get off the ship. We flash our cards on the way down and off we go.
Colorado Kat Posted November 6, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2013 If they are in the same cabin you can bring a non-platinum guest. Or if they are minor children under your credit card. Other than that, you might be able to. Depends on the individual Carnival employee that you encounter.
ready2cruzagain Posted November 6, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) I was told by guest services you can bring your roommates if they are not Platinum or minor children. As far as bringing six other guests that are not their roommates or children...no. I guess she could try it and hopefully the Carnival employee says no. RuthlessBoss Posted November 6, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 6, 2013 True but never have had to wait to get off the ship. We flash our cards on the way down and off we go. My point was why do plats who've earned the rights haul along non plats to the head of the lines in front of other waiting plats. Admit it doesn't take long to leave, the point is equivelant to line cutting.

Do you have a link to confirm this? Diamond / Platinum / FTTF can bring up to 5 persons on the tender with them. They did not check statuses or if they were in the same cabin. Admit it doesn't take long to leave, the point is equivelant to line cutting. In our case we were cruising with two other couples, one was platinum one was one cruise away. We thought it was easier to go as a group and we did. As it turned out the tender left half full anyway. Didnt see doing this as a big deal. We had FTTF on our last cruise. We bypassed the line completely at Half Moon Cay. There was no wait in line at all. We just walked right onto the tender. It was wonderful! :D

No doubt, especially if from a larger ship. Sometimes the hallway is packed like sardines. The only time it's less is if you wait to go a little later. bigdog1958 Posted November 7, 2013 #20 Share Posted November 7, 2013 This is a great way to make xtra money.. go get 5 vouchers and sell them for 5.00 bucks a piece for people that dont want to wait in line... It might be worth the 50.00 fee for Faster to Fun, as you can make back alot of your money... good deal...
