Toiletries on Nieuw Amsterdam

Wondering if they provide bar soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioners so I will know how much of my own to bring. Thanks...2 weeks and counting!!

HAL provides Elemis products. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel come in containers that are on the wall in the shower area.

You will get one of 2 types of bar soap -- on our recent Nieuw Amsterdam cruise we got the round white zest soap. Sometimes the ship has the green soap which gets very gooey.

There will also be a tiny bottle of lotion on the sink.

I know some folks love the shampoo and conditioner. I have color treated hair and I find it to be less than mediocre.

I like the Elemis Shampoo and white bath soap but don't use the conditioner, body lotion or bath gel.

The shampoo is also excellent for hand washing anything you don't want to send to the ship's laundry. (This was a very much appreciated hint from someone on CC!)
