Free or not so free happy hour?

I’m a bit confused over what complementary alcohol drinks are offered to Diamond level C&A members during the “happy hour” most evenings in one of the ships’ bar’s. When on the Adventure of the Seas last year the server’s provided any drink you asked for (normally a cocktail) complementary. However, the small print on the C&A website seems to suggest that only wine is complementary and that other alcohol drinks can be purchased at a 25% discount. Grateful if anyone could clarify what the entitlement is? :)

It depends on the ship.

If they have a Diamond lounge they have free cocktails, house wine and soda. [nothing fancy like frozen drinks] But, some ships do not have these, yet. They have a "diamond event" and cocktails are at 25% off. RCL wil eventually add a DL to all ships.

That is the key! We've gotten just about any cocktail or well drinks in the diamond lounge on Voyager, Mariner and Freedom, but on Radiance in Sept. there were very limited drinks! The only cocktails they would serve us were straight up martinis, screwdrivers, cosmos, etc. nothing with over one type of liquor and only house wines and maybe one or two others, (more complicated drinks at the discount price)...very disappointing when on the others we have been served good scotch and other multiple ingredient cocktails. Hoping the same holds true for Allure's lounge.

I didn't realize there was a DL on Voyager.
