We just got into our cabin and found out that Oasis is now offering unlimited internet for $179 the same as Allure.

I was hoping that would happen before we cruise in May. We used it on the Allure on our last cruise and loved it.

Great, thanks for reporting. I believe that makes only two ships with the unlimited plans. Anyone else see unlimited plans on other than Oasis or Allure?

I heard a lot about the O3B networks launching in 2014 but haven't heard much since then.

This is great. My wife works from home but has limited vacation days. She would love trying to work on at sea days to cut down on the number of vacation days she has to use to go on a cruise.

There is still no definite date for the launch of O3b's second set of 4 satellites, as far as I know. The launch schedules mostly just show it in March, it could well slip further (although O3b say they have fixed the issue with the satellites, it's a busy time for the Arianespace launch facility).
