MTD-9:00 show

Hi-

 

We have MTD reservations for every night at 7:30 (earlier ones were taken, except for 5:30) and am wondering if we will be able to be done with dinner in time for the 9:00 show. We requested tables for two, so I'm hoping we can have a little more control over the pace of dinner. I'm hoping to be out in an hour.

Thoughts??

Dinner can easily be done within a hour. Since it's only two of you, you won't have to be slowed down by others. Just tell your wait staff you would like to be out by 8:30.

 

You could also show up a little early or try changing your reservations after you're on the ship.

We have done that many times. Just tell the wait staff that you are trying to make a show. We have always been out of MTD in an hour when there are just two of us even without requesting expedited service.

You should not have any problems. Most of our dinners were finished within an 1hr or 1 15-20mins. We never requested we needed to be somewhere....but letting them know is no big deal.

You can also change the time of your reservation once onboard by going to the MTD desk on embarkation afternoon. We've found that it's pretty easy to get a table for 2 at 7pm.

As stated by others, it shouldn't be a problem but you could also try not reserving and just showing up at an off-peak time like 7:18 or something like that. Consider the peak times are on the hour and half hour; arriving outside of those times can work to your advantage. :)

Thanks for the replies everyone. I may try to change to 6:45 or 7:00 once on board, but I may just keep 7:30 knowing I can be done in time for the shows.

You don't need a reservation at all. Just go when you want. ;)
