The bells have rung

The new year has begun

It's a new day/week/year for us you know

Are we ready for the challenge either fast or slow

Have to keep after our goals each week

Either to lose or maintain whatever we seek

Know it's hard work and wish us all the power to do it all

Be nice for everyone to say I'm at goal or still losing by fall

Please come in and join us on the

weigh-in post each Thursday!

Know there is a lot of you who just

come in and read how we all are

doing...Please Join Us! We're nice!

We're all trying to do the same thing..

Lose Weight or maintain what we have lost.

It's a NEW YEAR..Everyone come in.

Doesn't matter if you've been here before (we miss you)

If your New (we welcome you)

Doesn't matter if you have a lot to lose..a little or

want to just maintain......if your having a hard time

just by coming in each week it helps you not to

gain to much because your aware.

We think by coming in each week it really helps us.

Nice if we can give tips on how we're eating..exercising.

What works for us and doesn't. Might be what you

need to hear and try.

You can vent in here about anything...we all listen and

try to help.

I hope to see many women/men joining us in our

"battle" to get healthier and thinner.

WELCOME ALL

I believe I am the same this week ... yesterday I ate chocolate as I knew it would be the last time (for awhile anyway). Tomorrow I get to have a colonoscopy ... should be fun:rolleyes: After that it's back to the diet big time .... I did manage to go to the gym Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Wednesday ... it feels good to exercise! Jan

HI all!

Belle ~ nice sentiments.:D

I've been naughty but not as bad as I thought it'd be. I gained 0.6 lbs which isn't bad after all the chocolate & goodies I ate. My neighbour brought over 3 baggies of her Christmas baking which DH found too sweet so I had to eat them all. The other neighbour had us over for New Year's Eve where I enjoyed chips, wine & lovely almond slices.:o

I've started counting calories on MFP again as I'm way too heavy.

Good luck to the rest of you.

Didn't get to WW last week, ended up sick. Lost 1.4 for two weeks, and that was over Christmas and lots of cheats. Total is now 27.2. Two weeks until we leave on our cruise. I really want to hit the 30 lb mark. I've noticed my weight loss has slowed down since I quit walking and swimming in December. Going to get back at it tomorrow.

I managed to maintain through the holidays, and had wine almost every day and too many desserts. I got in my five miles almost every day, continued my yoga practice (4-7 hours a week), put in at least an hour a week with the weights, and had two hours of physical therapy a week, which is pretty much Pilates. I think my metabolism is revved up enough that my body is able to process the extra calories with no problem.

Right now I'm side-lined with a sinus infection. I started antibiotics this morning and am hoping to feel well enough to make it to yoga Sunday morning.

Belle, thanks for starting the thread.

I forgot to weigh-in or even check for the weekly thread! I've been covering for my co-worker so I guess I forgot.

I gained 1 lb. I think that's the only lb. I gained since before Thanksgiving.

Need to lose, now , for April cruise.

Good luck this week. Diana

I'm hoping to lose more body fat and be in the 19-20% range before I cruise in April. I have a terrible sinus infection and haven't been up to doing any exercise at all for a week. Just cancelled my trainer for tomorrow morning, hoping to get to yoga Tuesday night and get back to my power waking by Thursday.

Hi all!

Welcome to the new posters.:D

Hope everyone that's been under the weather is feeling better.

Jan ~ hope all went well with your scope. My doctor is after me to have one but I'm resisting. I don't have a problem so can't see the need.

Take care & stay warm. It's pretty cold & icy up here.:(

I'm a newbie to CC, and have been on 2 cruises...one Carnival in 2001 and one on RCCL for our honeymoon in 2004. We are booked for a cruise this Sept. 2014 to celebrate our 10th anniversary! I started back on Weight Watchers for the new year so I can get ready for the cruise. I have lost on that program, before. I am hoping the upcoming cruise will keep me motivated. Can't wait!
