Hotel Director on Allure saves choking passenger

Last week, a passenger choked on a piece of lamb while having dinner at Giovanni's .

Hotel Director Raimund Gschaider was close by and performed the Heimlich Maneuver. It took 3 attempts but he was finally successful in dislodging the meat from her throat.

Sharon from Florida fully recovered and was back in the Concierge lounge the next day, very grateful that he was able to come quickly to her assistance.

Very good to know someone is trained to do this. Especially since I have a sister you chokes on her food very easily, if she isn't extra careful. Has something to do with her esophagus closing on her at the oddest of times and right now there is nothing they can do for her.
