Removing Balcony Dividers

I'm assuming that even non connected cabins can have their balconies opened on Allure/Oasis correct? We'll be on in Feb. with some friends but they aren't connected cabins.

Correct, but still up to ship's management if it will be allowed.

Radiance class balcony dividers are bolted into place. They will not open them. They aren't designed to be opened.

The CL divider on the Oasis can be opened - at least ocean view ones can.

Since we're on the subject, what about deck 7 Navigator cabin dividers?

 

They can be opened, but in the 8 or so years I've been in this forum Navigator seems to be the one most often mentioned as a ship were they wont do so. But things change over time. We had adjoining balconies on the hump of deck 7 and were told No, but that was 2009.

We were just on the oasis and had the dividers on 4 adjoining cabins opened prior to Sailaway - just ask your cabin steward as soon as as you meet him/her.

We will be on Allure in 2014, on deck 10. Not ajoining cabins but we would want the divider down. Hope we can make it happen. :cool:

Be assured that the CABINS being connected has nothing to do with being able to get the balcony dividers opened.

Has anyone here sailed on the Navigator and WAS allowed to have their balcony dividers opened. We are sailing with a group and some of us have side by side balconies and were hoping the dividers would open. We knew that it was a possibility that it wouldn't be allowed so it's not a deal breaker nor will it ruin our cruise. We will just be slightly disappointed.
