Can I get wine from my Wine Package at lunch in MDR?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if I can have a glass of wine from my Wine Package in the MDR during lunch on sea days? What about at Giovanni's Table for lunch? We have lunch booked there on our first sea day. I know my wine is available to me at dinner but I've never tried to get it at lunch. Just curious. I don't mind if I have to stop by a bar & grab a glass before I go in the MDR.

I've never tried to get wine at lunch, so I don't know if they could accomodate you. Another option is to take a full bottlle back to your stateroom from the first night in the MDR, and use that for your lunches.

It may take them a while to find it, but yes, you can.

If you have fixed/traditional dining, it's easier, because they store it by your table number, which is on your SeaPass card. If you have MTD, then it's stored by your cabin number. (which is also on your SeaPass card, but something you are more likely to remember on your own! ;))

Totally agree with this! Otherwise you'd most likely end up waiting a long while for your wine.

Yes you can - but as said you may have a short wait - I even got a bottle in the WJ to take back to the cabin for the afternoon - took a little wait but was worth it - (did give the waiter a small tip for his efforts but not necessary - felt he went out of his way)

Yes you most certainly can just ask your server. In fact if you don't finish it at lunch have your server save the bottle for dinner. Last year a kind couple shared their bottle with me at lunch and they said if you can't finish it at lunch they will save it until dinner.
