LetsGetWet! Posted March 10, 2014 #16 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Meanwhile, the often-used three-letter abbreviations for the ships are often less than clear and useful. :) AOS = Allure of the Seas, or Adventure of the Seas, or soon Anthem of the Seas EOS = Explorer of the Seas, or Enchantment of the Seas LOS = Legend of the Seas, or Liberty of the Seas MOS = Mariner of the Seas, or Majesty of the Seas ROS = Rhapsody of the Sea, or Radiance of the Seas SOS = Serenade of the Seas, or Splendour of the Seas VOS = Vision of the Seas, or Voyager of the Seas

I've read several, but have not been able to figure out what they mean. For example...TA, DH, DS, etc. Thanks for the help! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Forums mobile app Welcome to cruise critic. There is actually a list in the FAQ section of cruise critic that has a very extensive list of all the abbreviations that are common. You will find that some people make up their own as they go and you might have to ask what they are talking about. Here is a link for you to the list. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_acronyms You will also see people use the two letter abbreviation for the ships since some of them start with the same letter. The two letter abbreviations make it much easier since they are unique to each ship.
