mamichelle Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I was looking to book a cruise fairly soon and the only cabins left are the bump outs on the Freedom. Is there anything wrong with those rooms? And is there a deck preference? I've never been on Freedom. Thanks!

If you are looking at the ones commonly reffered to as the hump, they are very desirable locations. I had 9640 and loved it, check to see if this is what you are referring to. The bump outs are usually the most desired staterooms, if we're thinking the same staterooms. What are some of the stateroom numbers that are available? Those locations are typically very desirable for the somewhat unique view out over the side of the ship and the proximity to the elevator banks. Deck preference would be up to you but a mid level deck would allow about equal distance up or down to the pool decks and Windjammer and specialty restaurants as well as the Royal Promenade and main dining room. They are one of our favorite locations for the reasons mentioned.
cb at sea Posted March 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Very, very convenient location! Pick the deck closest to where you think you'll spend the bulk of your daytime hours...it will make life so much easier if you can run up and down a flight of stairs, rather than using the elevators!
