I've been on Eurodam twice, but never on the NA. Does anyone have a preference, one over the other, or are they pretty much the same?

They are pretty much the same, but I prefer the decor of the Nieuw Amsterdam. The Eurodam's Atrium sculpture is just plain ugly in my opinion. It looks like a stalagtite that stopped growing and then someone spilled paint on it.

That description is being kind. Most folks think it looks like a giant prophylactic!

Ha Ha! I felt pretty much that way about the "candycane" in the middle of the Volendam! We'll have to look for something interesting on the NA - I do love the Tamarind.

The Nieuw Amsterdam's Atrium sculpture is of the New York skyline on the top side with a mirror image of the skyline on the bottom side. I thought it was kind of neat and very appropriate for this ship.

Check out the real New York taxi in Club HAL.
