lamull Posted April 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2014 My husband and I decided to book a cruise on the Allure. If I book through Royal Caribbean, can I transfer the booking to a travel agent and get their freebies?
Clarea Posted April 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) My husband and I decided to book a cruise on the Allure. If I book through Royal Caribbean, can I transfer the booking to a travel agent and get their freebies? Yes, you have up to 60 days after booking to transfer. Also, the cruise cannot be paid in full. matj2000 Posted April 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Go up to the "Search this Forum" in the corner and type in the letters "TA". It will bring up 1,000,000,000,000 threads related to this very question.
summersigh Posted April 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2014 We booked our last cruise with an online TA which included a nice OBC perk. Later we realized that if we'd booked with our regular hometown TA the discount she gives on insurance was actually larger than the OBC from the online company. Next cruise we'll price it all out to see the bottom line. :)

Of course, you could have followed Bob's example instead and simply answered the OP's question.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted April 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Of course, you could have followed Bob's example instead and simply answered the OP's question. And been much more accurate too :)
LSSloves Posted April 12, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Of course, you could have followed Bob's example instead and simply answered the OP's question. Of course, people could use Google. It is a free search engine FYI with lots of information that frequently leads you to the exact answer on a forum.
negc Posted April 12, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Of course, people could use Google. It is a free search engine FYI with lots of information that frequently leads you to the exact answer on a forum. Which, in this case, probably would have led the OP directly back to Bob's answer. Seems an unnecessary extra step to get to the desired answer.:)

negc Posted April 12, 2014 #10 Share Posted April 12, 2014 You are confused. It would have led them to one of the hundred other threads answering this without having to ask. I don't think I'm the one who is confused. Instead of checking out one or more of the hundred other threads answering this question, they simply had to read down one post on the thread they started to find Bob's response with the answer they were looking for. Quick and easy and more likely to be correct than some of those hundred other threads. Lamull asked a question and clarea answered it.

TA can stand for travel agent or for transatlantic. Many different questions can be asked about both. NOT a good candidate for an easy search!
