Post it notes were great when we went with our kids. always knew where they were and they knew where we were. well if you want to get from deck 11 to deck 2 , it will take too long to wait for the elevators. then this cord comes in handy. Rare mcatmcat Posted May 9, 2014 #27 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Never have I needed or taken Duct Tape, Post it Notes, Lanyards, Zip ties, Highlighter, Power Strip, Clothes Pins or Bungee Cord. I do bring a little Emergency Medical Kit and we have used it! Duct tape to wrap it to my disembarking luggage tag. I always see a couple of them in the floor and luggages without them at the terminal Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

beachbum53 Posted May 9, 2014 #31 Share Posted May 9, 2014 You'll need several of these (maybe 100?) for seat saving. They can be used for theater seats or lounge chairs by the pool:
gooch47 Posted May 9, 2014 #32 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Good choice....in my case my DH. The typical packed items for a vacation, I will leave to others to list. In addition to them, we bring: (1) shower sponges -- we hate wash cloths; we throw them out before we come home....simple inexpensive purchase at local dollar store (2) baby wipes -- the toilet paper on cruise ships is terrible. (3) clothes pins -- for clipping bathing to the clothes line in the shower or to keep them attached to the chairs on our balcony so they don't fall off chair while drying. (4) binoculars -- to take on excursions (5) flashlight -- just in case we might need it. Wonder if this is a "no-no."
ram42953 Posted May 9, 2014 #33 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Wonder if this is a "no-no." I thought the same thing. I don't think you are supposed to flush those down the Toilets. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Mytime2014 Posted May 9, 2014 #35 Share Posted May 9, 2014 I thought the same thing. I don't think you are supposed to flush those down the Toilets. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app isn't that what causes the rooms downstream from you to have plumbing problems. Maybe the poster meant they were used and PLACED IN THE TRASH like they are supposed to be. The hospitals here were getting in big problems with the city for all those flushable wipes - they are clogging up entire city lines. So I don't think they are really all that flushable unless you like paying the plumber!

Paulette3028 Posted May 11, 2014 #42 Share Posted May 11, 2014 Most of all, patience and a sense of humor This is definitely a MUST. Often, people who don't have patience on land or a sense of humor at home.....don't have it to bring with them. I often wonder, if there was a way for these two commodities to be purchased, it would make a FORTUNE for its shareholders.
lady_cruiser Posted May 14, 2014 #43 Share Posted May 14, 2014 We bring a write/erase board for our closet door. We go through the newsletter every night and see what we want to do the next morning. Then we write it on the board. We use to bring our FunTimes with us but always seem to lose it. Here's a pic of one
