Diamond and Up Drink Vouchers - List of Ships Using them

Recommended Posts

Sailed on the Navigator the week of 6/29 and the 'vouchers' were available. The first time I tried it in one of the bars (can't remember which one), the bartender charged me for the glass of wine. I went to the desk and had the charge removed with no problem. After that, I gave them my card, told them I was a diamond member and got my wine!! I wish I had a list of what you can order outside of the DL !!

I'm not sure which ships on the list don't have DL (beside Majesty). Have any dates come up for ships w/o at DL? I'm wondering if they would be the last to start it b/c they don't have a DL to make less crowded.

It will also be interesting to see if they stop the DE with vouchers. I'd think they would unless they want to keep a gathering place for diamond members.

I think the terminology used here regarding the addition to your sea-pass of the perk, as vouchers could be misleading.
It could be interpreted by some as a physical voucher, a piece of paper used for a transaction.
The 3 free drink allowance is added to the sea-pass in the same way as the free spins in the casino are. They expire daily so they cannot be hoarded.
Simple or what?

Ships without a DL: Majesty, Jewel, Explorer. Not sure about Voyager.

Freedom had them on our 7/6 cruise. It was definitely a nice perk. We enjoyed most of them at the pub, and the waitress (Gabriela) recognized us nightly and knew what we planned to order. She received one of our WOW cards. :) The 3 free drinks were available from 4:30-8:00 and included:

Spirits: Bacardi Rum, Bailey's Irish Cream, Tanqueray Gin, Finlandia Vodka, Dewar's White Label Scotch Whiskey, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Courvoisier VS Cognac, and Sandeman Port Wine

Wines by the glass: St. Martin Chardonnay, Zonin Pinot Grigio, Beringer White Zinfandel, St. Martin Cabernet Sauvignon, and St. Martin Merlot

Beers: Budweiser, Miller Lite, Amstel Light, Corona, and Heineken.

We had a note with all of the info in our cabin, and we had also received an email prior to the cruise. Love the fact that they're doing this on the sea pass card instead of paper vouchers/coupons.

Is Bailey's a new offering to the list? I don't remember seeing it before.

Just of the Vision today and we had the drinks loaded on the Seapass, Bailey's was included. Everything seemed to work well, although most nights we went to the CL

Monarch is gone.:( Maybe you're thinking Majesty, becuse she will never get a DL?

No, he meant Monarch. I removed it. :)

Now that they have added the vouchers to a ship without a DL (Explorer), I'm thinking there's no reason they won't add them to Majesty too. That will be a nice improvement for MJ.:)
