Buying a gift certificate

My daughter would like to purchase a gift certificate for us for our upcoming cruise since we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. We went through a travel agent so does she have to call the travel agent or can she call Royal Caribbean? If she can call RCCL, who would she call? She's only 17 so I wanted to find out the information for her :).

If your daughter wants to put on board credit on your cruise, she should call 800-722-5443. The gift certificate route is more cumbersome. The travel agent does not need to get involved.

My kids bought me a gift certificate one year. I received both a hard copy in the mail and an email. It had a number on it, and I just called and applied the gift certificate to my reservation.

 

That is how it is used.

 

Are you asking how she goes about BUYING it?

 

Tell her to call C&A at 800-526-9723. Does she have a credit card, or is she charging this gift to you? ;)

Lol...yes she has a debit card so she will call them.

Keep in mind that the gift certificate has to be applied to the booking about 7 - 10 days BEFORE the cruise.
