4th of July Cruise

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I usually cruise the week after July 4th but this year I am actually cruising a week earlier and I was wondering if they do anything special for the 4th of July. I know it's an American holiday but I am still curious.

Thanks,

RM

We're cruising next weekend also. I'm planning to wear some red, white and blue. I hope I won't be the only one. :)

I've been on a cruise a few times on the 4th of July....I always wore red, white, and blue. I even brought and wore plastic star beads. Lots of people will be dressed for the 4th. In fact next year one of my cruises leaves on the 4th of July and I already bought a flag shirt to wear!!!!!

This isn't really answering your question, but it's an excuse to post one of our favorite all-time photos:

July 4, 1988 - early morning on the Constitution, cruising the Hawaiian Islands:

You won't be the only one. We're cruising on the 4th as well--DH just bought stars & stripes swim trunks

We have been on Oasis during the forth of July. They had cake and a get together in the Royal Promenade with red white and blue balloons. It was a party that was nice but not very long. A few hours later the disco party was held and any evidence of the 4th party was long gone.

There were many folks around the ship wearing red white and blue. Being Canadian we did get a shout out on July 1st, but no where near the same.
