are there any cruise lines that still allow smoking on the balconies??? i spoke with a Norwegian rep. this morning and they are following Carnivals lead in November...

 

....who followed RCI's lead from last January, who followed Celebrity's lead from a few years ago....

 

I think the industry trend is clear with this. HAL still allows it and may continue it. But they too may follow suit eventually.

It's no good enjoying your balcony with someone smoking on next balcony

 

If they allow smoking on balconies they need to designate those areas together at time if booking

 

I believe they should allow it but keep an area for smokers as I can't stand being covered in smoke on my balcony

You need your private space of your cabin to smoke I fully agree.
