ATMs near dock

Does anyone recall seeing ATMs by or near the docks at any of the Danube ports?

 

I know they are all over the cities the cruises go to, but it would be convenient to get local currency before going on your daily excursion or when getting back to the ship to get ready for the following day.

I do not recall any right at the docks when you get into the town though you will usually find some

I think they take Euro on that route in most places... make sure you have some coins for the W/C

I would suggest that you ask the local tour guides. On all the walking tours we've done, the local guides have always known where to find ATMs, toilets, etc. along the tour route.

Thanks. I know the guides are helpful and plenty of ATMs can be found in the towns. I was just looking for the convenience of not having to stop during a tour, etc. Not a big deal, just curious to know if anyone remembered seeing any near the ships at any of the ports.

Don't believe there are any ATM's close to the docks. Probably security concerns when there are no boats.

None near docks. Most tours provide plenty of free time so hitting an ATM is not an issue.

 

As someone mentioned, have Euro coins (70 and 50, usually) for WCs.

Our CD showed us an ATM outside a bank across the street from St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. We had extra time after our walking tour to wander around, shop, etc.

 

We found an ATM in a bank that was in the central square in Nuremberg.

Even the smallest of stops, for example, Durnstein, have ATMs. Ask the guide or check hotels when there is no obvious bank.

Each day we were given a port map and the nearest ATMs were clearly marked. This was on Avalon but I imagine the other lines do similar.
