I've had chocolate dipped bacon. Chocolate and bacon are two very wonderful items. Together they were "interesting". Not bad but not really good.

The pictures of the deserts are making me totally crazy.

Sounds like a perfect way to ruin two almost perfect foods

The chocolate and wine pairings could be interesting.

I went to one of these events on land and it was amazing how the wine changed on the palate .... we would sip a wine, then after certain chocolates were nibbled retaste the wine.

With the proper matches it was amazing how much better the wines tasted after the chocolate! :p

' Course whats not to love...chocolate AND wine!

Those desert pictures are pretty much the definition of FOOD PORN!

The chocolate body treatment sounds a bit weird to me though.

OMG! This sounds heavenly! I wonder if they will have this stuff on my Alaskan cruise on the Grand in 3 weeks. Also just an opinion, in the right combination, chocolate and bacon can be wonderful. My son is a chef and has made us a few desserts with this combo and they were delicious! The chocolate drinks sound awesome too!! Can't wait! :)

Does anyone have any idea when this could start?

This is from today's Wall Street Journal -

Since debuting Norman Love Confections in 2001 after a notable career as a pastry chef for many luxury resorts, Love has since received wide-spread recognition for his hand-crafted, chocolate-making artistry including being named as one of the "top 10 chocolatiers in North America" and creating "the best ultra-premium chocolates in the nation." His sea-going chocolate creations will debut this fall aboard the new Regal Princess for her inaugural Caribbean season, and will continue to roll out to the rest of the Princess fleet throughout the next year.

From the WSJ

It will debut this fall aboard the new Regal Princess for her inaugural Caribbean season, and will continue to roll out to the rest of the Princess fleet throughout the next year.

In a recent national survey conducted by the cruise line about people's passion for chocolate, Princess found that 58 percent of women would choose chocolate over sex; 69 percent surveyed have frequent chocolate cravings; 53 percent surveyed would turn to chocolate over a friend when feeling sad; two thirds surveyed (67 percent) eat chocolate more often when they're happy than when they're stressed; 81 percent agree that chocolate improves their mood; and 84 percent would like to receive chocolate as a gift.

We LOVE Norman Love!!!

His chocolate store and bakery is just a few miles from our home in Ft Myers Fl. It's on Daniels Parkway, east of 75.

He recently opened a gelato store.

Heaven help us ..........................:)
