Colo Cruiser Posted July 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Chocolate dipped bacon! (shudder) That would be a bad shudder for me. Bacon needs to stay with the eggs.
Thrak Posted July 29, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I've had chocolate dipped bacon. Chocolate and bacon are two very wonderful items. Together they were "interesting". Not bad but not really good. The pictures of the deserts are making me totally crazy.

giselleacttwo Posted July 29, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Looks good to me! I'm not a fan of bacon and chocolate combined, but most of the rest of it is right up my alley.
remydiva Posted July 29, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 29, 2014 The chocolate and wine pairings could be interesting. I went to one of these events on land and it was amazing how the wine changed on the palate .... we would sip a wine, then after certain chocolates were nibbled retaste the wine. With the proper matches it was amazing how much better the wines tasted after the chocolate! :p ' Course whats not to love...chocolate AND wine! Thrak Posted July 29, 2014 #13 Share Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Those desert pictures are pretty much the definition of FOOD PORN! The chocolate body treatment sounds a bit weird to me though. Edited July 29, 2014 by Thrak
metsmom Posted July 29, 2014 #14 Share Posted July 29, 2014 OMG! This sounds heavenly! I wonder if they will have this stuff on my Alaskan cruise on the Grand in 3 weeks. Also just an opinion, in the right combination, chocolate and bacon can be wonderful. My son is a chef and has made us a few desserts with this combo and they were delicious! The chocolate drinks sound awesome too!! Can't wait! :)
renadherself Posted July 29, 2014 #15 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I have to say, I wasn't a fan of bacon+chocolate until I had dark chocolate/bacon s'mores! Some combos work.

waterbug1 Posted July 29, 2014 #21 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Does anyone have any idea when this could start? This is from today's Wall Street Journal - Since debuting Norman Love Confections in 2001 after a notable career as a pastry chef for many luxury resorts, Love has since received wide-spread recognition for his hand-crafted, chocolate-making artistry including being named as one of the "top 10 chocolatiers in North America" and creating "the best ultra-premium chocolates in the nation." His sea-going chocolate creations will debut this fall aboard the new Regal Princess for her inaugural Caribbean season, and will continue to roll out to the rest of the Princess fleet throughout the next year.
