Clarea Posted August 3, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Headed out on the 14th. Is it just me, or it Johnny Rockets always so much better at sea than on shore? I loved the breakfasts at JR on Allure. Not sure they do that on Explorer. I can't remember if they had that last time I was on Voyager. No JR breakfast on Explorer or Voyager. Currently only Oasis and Allure have breakfast at JR.

Ashland Posted August 3, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Why would anyone on a ship with a very large variety of foods available. Go and pay to each "junk food"? Even if it was no extra cost I probably would not go... Because sometimes you just want a burger/fries/shake.
Rare MandyMooToo Posted August 4, 2014 #29 Share Posted August 4, 2014 It is also fun to watch the song and dance while having an old fashioned malt or milkshake and burger! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

Because there are literally billions of people on Earth who aren't you, and may not have your exact tastes and preferences? Crazy thought I know. Burgers and fries are part of the variety you talk about. To each his own amirite?

The burgers, sandwiches etc are cooked to order on the griddle to your specification/toppings of your choice (nomatter the combo!), not precooked and sat under a heat lamp in the windjammer/kitchens for an hour. Bottomless fries/chilli fries/cheese fries made with again freshly fried fries/rings. I personally love it, the staff are among the happiest and cheeriest on the ship, it has a nice atmosphere and they serve incredible and apple pie.
