Thanks to the very useful information. We have been Verizon customers for 30 years and just discovered the points we have been accumulating. How exciting to find out how valuable they are to our vacation budget.

We also have been Verizon customers for ever!! At one point we had over $5000 in gift cards.....and that's $500 FREE MONEY!! I love free!

Yup, if I knew I could get them with regularity, I'd totally take out like a $30k loan from the bank just to buy gc's and convert them to cash in the casino. What other investment gives you a guaranteed 10% ROI?

No. Do not buy the RCCL cards if you are sailing on Carnival. The Verizon $100 cards were available one day last week. Just keep checking and they will pop back on the Verizon site. I am hoping the $500 cards come back soon as well.

Also I'd read the description and the terms and conditions on the Royal Caribbean Gift Certificates. They are not as easy to use as Carnival Gift Cards and are only useable for very specific things.

No, Carnival and Royal are two different corporations. The Carnival cards sell out very quickly because they can be used for many things without restrictions, unlike the Royal certificates which are very specific regarding their redemption. Because of this, you can easily obtain them.

When I search, nothing comes up for Carnival. Does that mean they're sold out, or are you all seeing a "sold out" sticker next to the gift cards online? Thanks!

Yes they are sold out. Sometimes it says it, sometimes they just take them off.

Keep watching for them, they will be back. I ordered some on 3/20 when only the $100 cards were available and today they both popped up.
