Cool towels

Recommended Posts

Never (at any cruiseline I cruise with) at the tender.

It is a nice feature on a hot day after a long excursion when the crew welcomes you with a cool wet towel and a cup of water or lemonade at the quay (or the pier).

At the baltic sea sometimes they have hot broth instead of cold water (I never tried it - there was no line - so we boarded immediately)

But at the tender there is no stewardess serving drinks and snacks :D - No asking "chicken or pasta"....

When you board a HAL tender, you get a seat and a ride. That, and safety, is all you should expect.

This isn't Business Class seats on an airplane we're talking about.

Can we upgrade to first class tenders? I hate the steerage class tenders. :)

Like the hydropool in the front of a tender once? The front window was broken, the seas were very rough, and with every bump a new wave of water came in.

First class got the benefit. ;) Those of us in the back only got a wading pool. :(

What! No AC?

Terri

NO AC that's why that person wanted cold towels.

I've never seen them -enough of a breeze most times on the tenders anyways.

the ride is usually adventuresome or full of beauty - who cares about cold towels?

The bar tender was actually a very sweet young thing, so I suppose one should say the tender tender bar tender will tender bar-tender towels... N'est-ce pas?

And surely you're acquainted with the subsequent tale of woe? Seems the young man in question had been on a very successful diet and was feeling a little light-headed. Wouldn't you know, that was the day he was asked to pilot. After a minor incident he was taken to the infirmary and found to be a young lady masquerading as a young gentleman! So, yes, the gender-bender tender slender tender bartender had a fender bender with the tender.;)

Finally - a post which matches in gravitas the original lament of the passenger whose cruise was ruined because of unlocated items left on loungers and the lack of either air-conditioning or wet towels on tenders.

Outstanding pun. I hope you didn't strain a muscle. :D
