skiwee Posted September 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2014 My 15 wants to join the teen Club on the Fantasy. Is there a place at the port to sign up ahead of boarding like some other cruise lines? Or will we just do it once we are on? Thanks! Loonbeam Posted September 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2014 I'm not sure they have to sign up for it. When we took my nephew on the Magic, the club for that age group was drop-in. They just had signups for some activities. That was only a 3 day cruise tho. If the teens do need to sign up, there will be a youth activities table at the port. CC Help Jenn Posted September 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2014 On the Fantasy - visit the teen club during open house hours - try to do so before dinnertime on embarkation day If a teen will be in the club they actually exchange their old key card for a new Vibe Key card - After open house they close the doors to Vibe... Much like a stateroom the teens will use their new Vibe key card to enter vibe. Only teens with this card will be able to get in/out of Vibe once the cruise is really underway (aside from any open house times) This key card does replace their port-issued key card and will also open your stateroom and having charging privileges IF you had granted them. They will no longer have their original, port issues, key to the world card.

If I recall correctly on the Fantasy, the open house closed at 2:30p.m. and then they had another open house after muster for a period of time. On the last night you can go to guest services or the concierge and they will reissue the original card they got at the port and they can keep both if they wanted them for scrap booking. vacation_junkie Posted September 17, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Unless they changed it - there was no card reader at the door to Vibe on the Magic I agree. It was his normal card and there was no swiping needed to access the room either. The door was left open on most occasions
