KennesawKenn Posted September 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Seeking first hand experience with ground transportation FFL to Port of Miami. I have several free days with National Car Rental, but there is no terminal at the port. Four adult travels with 8 - 10 bags plus "personal effects" (yes - that's too much. I know) I have researched the Port's web site and FFL's website. There are a gah-zillion off campus shuttles. I am seeking best value (which does not mean cheapest) Important are: reliability, not having to wait to long and price. What are your suggestions? PS - We disembark on a Saturday and our flights aren't until 3pm ... ideas? Can we stash our stuff somewhere and go visit Little Havana?
cb at sea Posted September 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Google SAS Transportation...they are highly recommended, reliable and much cheaper than the ship's shuttles, and definitely less expensive than a taxi!!! (which runs around $85 for that trip!)

swedish weave Posted September 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) SAS usually have a small trailer for the luggage. That makes more room in the van. They charge about 15 dollars per person Edited September 17, 2014 by swedish weave
CPT Trips Posted September 17, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2014 SAS usually have a small trailer for the luggage. That makes more room in the van. They charge about 15 dollars per person More room for them to cram pax into. Still, I would use them again.

Yes, 3+3+3+4=CRAM A lot like how I feel on most commercial aircraft. When those pax vans are at capacity, I feel crammed in. YMMV It's the price I will pay for a reasonable price.
