Ine Posted September 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Check this map. cruise terminal is on B5. You can zoom in by clicking in into each section. http://www.amsterdam.info/print/map/ Be aware that some cruises donot leave from Amsterdam but IJmuiden, which is much farther out. KirkNC Posted September 20, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2014 I would take the tram, #26 if my memory is right. Something like three stops.

How far is it? Cost ? Thanks :) We just finished our cruise and while in Amsterdam, we walked. It was about a 10 minute walk from the terminal to central station, another 39 minutes to Anne Frank House, and another 35 minutes to either the Van Gogh museum or Rikjmuseum. The walking gave us an opportunity to browse so shops and absorb the atmosphere of the town. We walked all the way back to the ship as well. After dinner we took a 15 minute walk to the red light district. Walking is easy but you have to keep your eyes out for the cyclists.

sunsetbeachgal Posted December 5, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) We are walkers and BY FAR the city that we Have ever felt most danger of being hit was Amsterdam by a bicycle. The bicyclists serm to either have or take the right of way over walkers. Be careful! Edited December 5, 2014 by sunsetbeachgal
